Paul B. Fleming has been a professional photographer in Montgomery County Maryland for 17 years. He opened is own studio in Gaithersburg Maryland in 1990 and specializes In Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Special events, Corporate and Commercial Photography, Portraiture, and Architecture.

As an art student in 1982, he learned to master the 35 mm camera, securing his first job as a portrait artist over several summers on the shores of Maryland. At the same time, he pursued his education in photography and advertising design, first at Montgomery College, and then at Salisbury University.

He was a recipient of Photography awards and an academic scholarship at S.U., graduating with honors and received his BA degree in 1986. He enthusiastically entered the photography field full time, being fortunate enough to become studio manager for one of Maryland’s largest advertising and stock photographers, Jon Feingersh. The four years with Jon was a pivotal experience, enabling him to hone the many skills required for posing subjects, using innovative lighting techniques, working with large groups of people, and learned medium and large camera formats. After years of practice, assisting, and apprenticeship, he opened his own business in 1990.

Wedding photography was initially his primary focus when he started his photography business in Montgomery County Maryland and quickly built his base by just shooting a few dozen weddings per year.

As his reputation for excellence and reliability grew among wedding professionals in the Washington Metropolitan area, this allowed him to acquire state-of-the-art photographic equipment, giving him increasing experience, professional exposure and services, which brought a record of 750 plus weddings over his 17 years in the business. He is now requested for more than 70 events per year. The high demand for excellence in photography at competitive prices has enabled him to expand his studio and staff and welcome some associate photographers. All photographers work is available for review at the Montgomery county studio by appointment.

Paul and his staff are available for travel and have covered events from Long Island to Florida. Please keep in mind that he can book events 12-18 months in advance.
